Arthi Agarwal (born on March 5 in New Jersey, USA) is an American -Indian actress in Tollywood. She was brought up in New Jersey until the age of 14. Sunil Shetty invited her to dance on stage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA when she was barely 14. Big B who was there too encouraged her father to take her to Bollywood.[citation needed] As a result, she did her first film Paagalpan in Hindi in 2001 but it was not a hit. She then went to Tollywood. She did her first Tollywood movie Nuvvu Naaku Nachav with Telugu actor Venkatesh in 2001, which was more successful.
